About me
While my main area of focus is trauma related therapy and relationship concerns, I also support clients with a wide range of other emotional and psychological obstacles, helping you to move from a place of survival to one of connection and peace.
My approach is integrative, meaning I have training which integrates different therapeutic approaches, so am able to guide you in ways best suited to your needs, by working together to find resolutions to your problems.
I have a special interest in working in women's health, whether it may be self esteem issues, fertility, menopause / midlife changes or effects from abusive relationships.
If you are someone who is struggling with the echoes of the past or a couple caught in the same patterns, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I am an accredited psychotherapist, counsellor and qualified EMDR and CBT therapist, working in Sevenoaks, but also have some availability in West Malling and Orpington.
I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) - the UK's governing body and adhere to their code of ethics.
I offer therapy to individuals and couples with a wide range of emotional difficulties practicing various approaches and modalities.
I practice within these guidelines, hold an up-to-date DBS and ICO data-protection certificate and indemnity insurance. I take part in on-going professional and personal development as well as regularly attend courses, workshops and seminars in relation to my work.
I receive referrals from the NHS and corporate health insurers; AXA, BUPA, AVIVA, CIGNA, WPA and work at The Priory hospital.
In addtion to the above, I am a qualified ADHD assessor and a qualified nutritionist which links in with my therapy, enabling me to work with those experiencing unhealthy relationships with food or eating disorders.
